They contacted me about having a reel made, and I was happy to share the process of creating their sign.

The first reel I created also featured this subway sign and was the start of great success from IG. Enjoy!

This sign was a custom request - 14x14”. I just had to make a custom screen for the text and space it out accordingly.

Custom signs take a little extra work, but it’s fun doing something different. If you want a custom sign send an email to [email protected] or shop sidewaysigns.com

If only it was as quick and as easy as this reel.

From making the screen to printing the final product. Here is a sneak peak at some new stuff I’m working on. 10”x20”, and possibly a larger size of 16”x32” in the future.

If there is enough interest I will proceed with getting these created and listed for different teams, and available in different colors.

Still some issues to work out with the printing process and using multiple screens instead of just using one large screen.

10 years ago this month I was in Grand Central station talking on the phone with the MTA about making replica signs to sell. 10 years later I estimate I’ve made over 15,000 signs. I’ve truly handmade every sign. Let’s make another 15,000 signs!
