The Summer Reading Program has officially wrapped up and the numbers are in! Readers of all ages showed up across both locations to unearth stories of all kinds and log their progress all summer long. Great job to all of our readers!

If you loved the fun of our Dino Dig program during Summer Reading, then you'll love Wild Sprouts! Children explore loose parts, sensory setups, and dramatic play designed to encourage learning through hands-on activity.

Thank you for having us at National Night Out, Chesterfield Police Department! We were happy to participate, sharing ocean and ice cream themed sensory bins along with a free book giveaway for kids getting ready to head back to school!

We had a great time connecting with our community last month, both inside the library and around town! We hosted Holy Cross School for a Fire Safety House visit, popped up at Los Compadres to connect with our Spanish-speaking community, and shared crafts and sensory activities at local events like the APD Block Party, Pride, and Back to School Bash at Applecreek Apartments!
