Kindergarten students at Edgewood Elementary and 1st grade students Eastside Elementary in Anderson have been enjoying the Fall Focus on Agriculture program. They have learned about animal science while incubating eggs in their classroom, learned about pollinators, and enjoyed learning about (and tasting) apples!

This program wraps up next week with a pumpkin lesson. Extension Educator Jessica Scholer and Program Assistant Christy Harvey lead the program and bring the fun of a farm field trip to the classroom.

The Madison County Extension Office is in the process of moving to the 4-H Fairgrounds in Alexandria. If you need supplies on Wednesday or Thursday, please call us first at 765-641-9514. We will return to normal location and hours on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
