Our communities never fail to step up when our neighbors need us. And once again, so many people are already asking how they can help.

Right now, the focus is on safety and immediate response. But when the floodwaters recede and needs are assessed, there will be plenty of work to do.

We at Heart of Indiana United Way are gathering names now so we can reach out when volunteer opportunities are ready.

The fight against the cold is real. This year, the Anderson Homeless Task Force created the "A Little Warmth Wishlist" on Amazon to quickly mobilize critical gear—things like emergency blankets, thermal socks, and hand warmers—for individuals sleeping outdoors.

How you can help:

• 1. Visit the Wishlist: A Little Warmth Wishlist (https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/57KFU9JRW3YJ?ref_=wl_share)
• 2. Select an Item: Items are chosen specifically for maximum warmth and durability.
• 3. Checkout: Amazon sends it directly to us for distribution!

Thank you for helping us provide "A Little Warmth" and a lot of hope.
