What a wonderful gift that we received this morning from the Madison County Community Foundation! God continues to show up and bless not only AFC, but our community. This generous gift will go towards our beautification project at the Lora Hite Memorial Field.
If you're looking for a safe, loving, and fun place to play softball, come check us out! Our Fall Ball season has started and we're always looking for more participants!

We are incredibly grateful to the Madison County Community Foundation for their generous grant in support of the Lora Hite Memorial Field!
Thanks to their generosity, we will be able to install fencing around the field—an important improvement that will help us continue to make this special place safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for our community.
We are fortunate to have organizations like the Madison County Community Foundation investing in projects that make a lasting difference in our community. Thank you for your support and for helping us continue to honor the legacy of Lora Hite! ❤️

This Friday, 32 teens and 5 youth sponsors from AFC will be headed to Shiloh Park for district Fall Retreat. In a world where social media and peer pressure can feel so overwhelming for these young kids, we're going to take some time and discover the real meaning and experience of true peace. Please join me in praying for these 32 students, that they would hear God speak to them and they would find and experience true peace given to us through Jesus Christ.

Sometimes the biggest battle we face is the one within ourselves.
In BREAKTHROUGH, we talked about self-control, learning to surrender our impulses, emotions, words, and actions to God.
Self-control isn’t just about trying harder. It’s a fruit of the Spirit, and through the Holy Spirit, God gives us the strength to bring order to the areas of our lives that feel out of control.
What’s flowing from our hearts will eventually show up in our words and actions.
This week, let’s ask God to help us pause, surrender, and choose what honors Him. 🙌
