Last week, our clients participated in a simulated fire drill to practice safely evacuating the building in the event of an emergency. 🚒🔥

Our learners did an amazing job following directions, transitioning outside, and practicing important safety skills—and we're so proud of our staff for helping make the drill run smoothly!

The best part? After the drill, our clients had the opportunity to meet our local firefighters, explore the fire truck, and ask questions. It was such a fun and memorable experience!

A huge thank you to our local fire department for taking the time to visit and helping us make fire safety both educational and exciting. ❤️

At KC Learning Center, our favorite type of learning happens outside! We are fortunate to have access to a fenced in yard and walking paths.

Outside learning allows us to practice ABA in the most naturalistic way! We identify items, practice crossing the street, model communication in real time, and engage in meaningful ways together socially.
