We were so excited to receive this incredibly thoughtful donation for our classroom! 🥰 Lilly’s Grandma found these wonderful books and the fun puzzle/track set right on our Amazon Classroom Wish List and ordered them for our preschoolers. What a sweet surprise!

These books are going to become part of our everyday learning—building vocabulary, encouraging conversations, strengthening listening and comprehension, helping us talk about emotions, kindness, friendship, perseverance, curiosity, and so much more. 📖✨

And the puzzle track set is going to provide SO many opportunities for learning through play! 🚗🧩 The children will be practicing problem-solving, fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, creativity, patience, and even cooperation as they build and play together.

One of my favorite things about teaching preschool is watching children take something as simple as a book or a toy and turn it into an entire learning experience. They build, explore, ask questions, make mistakes, try again, work together, and discover something new. Those little moments are where so much learning happens—and they are the moments that make my heart so happy. 🥹💕

Every donation to our classroom is truly an investment in these little minds and in the experiences we are able to provide for them. I never take that support for granted. It takes a village to pour into the lives of children, and I am incredibly blessed to have families, grandparents, friends, and our community supporting what we do here at Miss Roxy’s. ❤️

Someone woke up from nap today and needed to be rocked back to sleep… and I’m honestly not sure who needed it more—Chance or Miss Roxy. 🥹💙
It’s definitely been a hard week for this mama as I get ready to send my son, Michael, off to college all the way across the country to Denver, Colorado. ✈️🎓
Rocking Michael to sleep was always one of my favorite things to do. I could sit in that old rocking chair for hours, just holding him in my arms, soaking up every little moment. That chair was surrounded by monkeys I had painted on the walls using pictures I cut out of an old coloring book. 🐒💙
Those days felt like they would last forever… until suddenly they didn’t.
So today, as I rocked Chance back to sleep, I found myself holding on just a little tighter and letting myself remember those sweet days with Michael. Sometimes these little daycare moments have a way of healing a mama’s heart when she needs it most. 🥹
Maybe Chance needed that nap… but I think Miss Roxy needed those extra cuddles even more. ❤️

It has been such an amazing year watching you grow from a tiny one-year-old into the spunky, independent, giggly little toddler you are today. You have brought so much joy, personality, and laughter into our days, and we are so lucky to get to watch you grow! 🥰
