I love the things I do every day at work— but the highlight this week was getting to trade my designer hat for florist / event planner hat. 💐

It took lots of scheming with my fellow details-fanatic meredithelementsinteriors and turning my kitchen into a floral studio overnight….But getting to build this all and see it come together for Jenna Hadachek baby shower was so much fun! 🤍

From dark basement, to beautiful lower-level living ✨

This before and after proves that a basement doesn’t have to feel like a basement. With a lighter palette, layered textures, high performance materials, and plenty of cozy seating— this space is now made for movie nights, game days, entertaining, and everyday lounging.

Light, bright, and completely livable— exactly how a lower level can feel when you work with The Elements!

Accessories do SO MUCH to glue all the furnishings and surfaces of a space together. They soften hard finishes and provide a middle zone for different tones to harmonize.

Using combinations; clusters, pairs, repetition, and of course a touch of green— accessories are the true workhorses of design.
