I attended the Artists Roundtable at Maryland Hall yesterday, hosted by local artist and teaching artist Nichole Leavy, and it was outstanding.

The discussion focused on using social media to market your craft, and I walked away with a bunch of useful information and ideas I can put to work. I also had the opportunity to network and talk with other creatives in the Annapolis arts community, which was just as valuable.

If you're an artist, teaching artist, or working on building your creative craft, I definitely recommend checking out this series at Maryland Hall.

The next Artists Roundtable is October 15 at 6:30 PM at Maryland Hall, Room 308 in Annapolis. The topic is “Overcoming Artistic Hurdles.”
