We provide mobile DJ & Lighting services to the greater Raleigh area. We also maintain weekly trivia I spent a majority of the night on stage with him.
In 1997, my cousin invited the "North Carolina Family" to her wedding in Detroit. I was 13 years old at the time, and this was the first wedding I had ever attended. I was instantly intrigued with the ability of the man on the stage to "control" everyone's movements. As he played this song, at that time, he got a different reaction from the crowd. While I never got the DJ's name, he undoubtedly had the largest impact on my life today. That Christmas, I asked for nothing but DJ equipment!! And so began the life of "DJ Ray". I got my start as a backyard DJ playing barbecues and cook-outs, usually having to borrow other peoples cd's to get by. I gradually put back enough money to upgrade equipment and music, which led to more shows. Once I turned 21, I immediately threw myself in to the world of pubs. Here, I started cultivating my hosting capabilities with karaoke, and later trivia. As I move into my 20th year in the field, I have expanded the DJ Ray company to include other trivia hosts and networking with other local DJ's to provide the best service to my customers. Whether it is at a trivia show, pool party, fashion show, or wedding, I strive to make it the best event possible! For the better part of two decades, I have received most of my customers from word-of-mouth, and this still holds true today. I believe the key to a successful event is the individual attention I give to each and every client. If you are looking for a DJ, please hit the message button. We look forward to seeing how we can serve you!

I was invited to DJ a back-to-school backpack giveaway hosted by North Carolina's own Omarion Hampton! I could not have been more excited to team up with him for this event! I had a blast, and it was awesome seeing all the little kids getting to throw the football with him! Thank you for the opportunity!
My niece and nephew came up for a bit. Beckham never misses a chance to jump up on my shoulders... Even if I'm working š
Thanks David for keeping me fed & hydrated, and running interference for stray footballs thrown in my direction when the kids started playing on our side of the gym!!

Iāll miss the way he could say something funny, and make himself laugh harder than anyone else. . Rest easy, my friend. You left a mark on all of us.
