At Fox Cares Foundation, we are incredibly grateful to our community for trusting us with your tornado relief donations. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide $25,000 to St. Vincent de Paul Neenah-Menasha and their Hope After the Storm program to help our neighbors recover and rebuild after the July 27 tornado. ❤️

At the same time, we learned that our friends at Fleet Farm had mattresses they wanted to donate—but we didn’t yet know where they could go or who had the capacity to put that many mattresses to use.

Sometimes the greatest impact comes from simply listening and making the right connections.

When we realized that St. Vincent was providing mattresses to families through Hope After the Storm, we knew we had found the connection. We were able to bring Fleet Farm and St. Vincent de Paul together, turning two separate acts of generosity into an even greater impact for families in our community.

This is what community partnership looks like. Your donations helped make the $25,000 contribution possible, and by listening, learning and connecting organizations, that impact grew even further.

Direct financial assistance for individuals and families continues to be one of the greatest needs in the Fox Cities after the July 2026 tornado.
Our communities have stepped up in many ways, one of which was donating to the Fox Cares Foundation tornado relief fund. Because this fund is from the community, for the community, we knew these funds should go into the community as soon as possible.
Last Friday, we dropped off $125,000 to People of Progression and an additional $100,000 to LEAVEN Fox Cities (previously received $25,000 from this fund) so they can continue to provide direct financial assistance and support to people affected by the tornado.
We're grateful for the care and compassion these organizations are providing to members of our community affected by the tornado, along with the financial assistance. We're also very thankful for everyone who has contributed to our tornado relief fund, making impact like this possible.

St. Joseph Food Program also received funds from your donations to our tornado response fund. On top of the wonderful work they do on a regular basis to help fight hunger, they are serving all those affected by the tornado and storms throughout the Menasha/Appleton area. If you are needing food resources, please visit them during their regular distribution hours. Even if you are not currently a client at St. Joe’s, you can receive a weekly food distribution from their pantry.

Because of your generosity, we handed out our first Tornado Relief Funds support check to LEAVEN Fox Cities today. Thank you to everyone who has donated to our support fund to help our neighbors recover.
LEAVEN Executive Director, Nikki, shared with us that since September 1st when they launched their new Tornado Relief Assistance Program providing direct financial assistance to victims of the tornado, at the time of our visit at noon today they had provided help to 70 people for $400,000. Our gift was surely going to be handed out within the next hour they had appointments today!
They've also learned they have capacity to double the number of appointments they can start taking next week!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our communities, we're excited to announce that the Fox Cares Foundation has officially surpassed its $250,000 fundraising goal for tornado relief support, unlocking the full $250,000 matching commitment from Fox Communities Credit Union.
This milestone would not have been possible without the support of hundreds of donors.
Every dollar raised represents hope, healing, and a stronger future for families affected by the storms.
While we're celebrating this achievement, our work isn't done. Donations are still being accepted, and every additional gift will help us extend support to even more individuals and families as they rebuild.
We will also be sharing details soon about how funds will be distributed throughout our communities to ensure they reach those who need them most.

On Monday, July 27, a tornado touched down in the Fox Cities. This devastated many members of our wonderful community. If we know one thing for certain, it’s that this community always bands together in times of need. Our hearts go out to all that were affected.

🔹Mile of Music will be donating 5% of Mile of Music merchandise sales from the Festival weekend to the tornado recovery. We are excited to partner with United Way Fox Cities, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation to understand and meet the needs of our community.

Additionally, Fox Communities Credit Union will be matching up to $250,000 in donations to support tornado recovery. To make a donation for the match, visit FoxCares.org and donate to the Fox Care’s Foundations’ Tornado Relief Support fund.

🔹TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) is matching up to $10,000 in donations at this week’s Mile of Music Festival to support those impacted by severe storms and tornado in the Fox Valley. The match comes after Mile of Music committed to donate 5 percent of merchandise sales to the Fox Cares Foundation.

🔹Additionally, several artists have offered to contribute a portion of their merch sales to the cause. We are very appreciative of this kind offer & will update this accordingly. (Please note: Mile of Music does not collect a percentage of artist merch.)

🔹We will be rounding up tips and taking tips at our concessions stands during the festival (Jones Park, Houdini Plaza and Lawrence Lawn) with a portion of those going to the same relief fund.

🔹We’ll be producing a special Mile of Love tornado relief concert soon after the festival in tandem with our partners and collaborators with 100% of the dollars going to support the cause. More details to come later.

It's official! Our 5th Annual Swing Fore Fox Sake Golf Outing raised $9,500 more than last years outing for a total over $27,000! Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, volunteered or even just prayed for great weather for our 5th year in a row!

At our board meeting last week, we approved 4 grants totaling $19,000 to support meaningful work happening across our communities. These specific grants centered around housing stability and nourishment for the hungry— including culturally specific foods.
