A few things I do that make my cookies come out bold and beautiful every time! Swipe to see my tips for using Fun Food Tools cookie stamps ✨🍪
Using three mini cookie stamps by Fun Food Tools: ‘6 point star’ (CSm-016), ‘8 point star’ (CSm-017), and 12 point star (Csm-006)

If your cookie dough is soft and sticky, pop it in the fridge for 30 minutes before rolling it out!
I roll it out to minimum 1/4” thick. If I want a thicker cookie, I’ll roll it out closer to 1/3” thick.
Dusting the cookie dough with flour and dipping your cookie stamp in flour between presses helps prevent any sticking :)
Press down firmly but don’t smash it into the dough. It can take a couple tries to find the sweet spot 💕
Use a plain circular cookie cutter for your classic round cookie or a fluted cookie cutter to make it a little fancier. I like the Jokumo fluted cookie cutter set from Amazon 😊
Don’t skip this step!! Chilling your stamped and cut out cookies before baking them is so helpful for making the design stay bold and crisp!
Enjoy them plain, glazed, dipped in chocolate, or as a sandwich cookie! There’s so many fun ways to add extra flavor and detail to textured cookies ✨✨

Base recipe is “The Perfect Cookie Stamp Recipe” by Your Baking Bestie and cookie stamps are ‘Acorn and Oak Leaf’, ‘Maple Leaf’, and ‘Acorn’ from Fun Food Tools
- Divide the dough into thirds
- Keep 1/3 as is
- Add 1.5 teaspoons of cocoa powder to 1/3 of the dough
- Add 1.5 teaspoons of cinnamon to 1/3 of the dough
- Chill the dough for half an hour. Divide the dough into small pieces and then randomly fit them back together. Roll out to create a beautiful, marbled effect in your cookie dough. Stamp with Fun Food Tools cookie stamps, cut out, and bake 🍂✨

Autumn Leaves Sugar Cookies 🍁🍂
Base sugar cookie recipe is “The Perfect Cookie Stamp Recipe” by . I added 1.5 tsp of cocoa powder to 1/4 of the dough, 1.5 tsp of cinnamon to 1/4, and kept 1/2 of the dough plain. Chill the dough for about an hour and then divide the dough into small pieces and randomly fit them back together. Use a cookie stamp to make cute fall impressions in the dough. Don’t forget to re-roll the scraps for an even more beautiful marbled pattern. Pop the stamped and cut out cookies in the freezer for 15 mins and then bake for 12 and voila! Your perfect, cozy, autumn leaves cookies are all done

I’m using the Halloween Cat cookie stamp from Fun Food Tools (which is 25% off on our website right now!!!) and the Perfect Cookie Stamp recipe from Your Baking Bestie. After the cookies are done baking and cooling, I spread melted chocolate on the back and dipped each cookie in sprinkles! I love how this adds some color and a little crunch to each bite.
A peek behind the curtain!! Cookie stamping requires the right dough consistency to turn out well and my cookie dough was definitely not chilled enough when I tried to make my cookies the first time. These chocolate cookies took me two tries but they ended up turning out super cute so I’m glad I didn’t give up on them!
