Spending just 10 minutes each day on small tasks like wiping counters, putting things away, or running the vacuum can make weekly cleaning much easier.

When weather allows, opening your windows for even 10–15 minutes can improve air circulation and leave your home feeling fresher.

Wiping your baseboards every few months prevents heavy dust buildup and keeps your home looking fresh and well cared for.

There is cleaning floors and there is wiping floors. All mopping isn't created equally! I have never liked mopping floors for many reasons. Personally, I get on my hands and knees to scrub floors, so that I can:

✨ get in the corners.
✨ see the stuff stuck on the floor and scrub them when a mop can't.
✨ get the baseboards at the same time.

How do you clean your floors?

Keeping countertops free of unnecessary items not only makes cleaning easier but also creates a calmer, more organized space.

What do you give someone who already has enough “stuff”? Give them something we could all use more of—time.

A professional home cleaning is a thoughtful gift for so many of life’s moments:

✨ New baby — one less thing for exhausted parents to worry about
💍 Wedding — help them start married life with a fresh, clean home
🎂 Birthday — because a day off from cleaning sounds pretty good
🥂 Anniversary — give them more time to spend together
🏡 New home — help make moving in a little easier
❤️ Or simply because someone you love could use a break

With Melanie’s Lux Home Care, you’re not just giving someone a clean house. You’re giving them a few hours back to rest, celebrate, spend time with family, or simply enjoy their home.

Replacing kitchen and bathroom towels weekly helps keep your home feeling fresh and reduces bacteria buildup.

By far my favorite tool is my vacuum from the very start of my cleaning career. I have never been disappointed with hit. The dust cup, roller and filters are easy to clean. The headlights are a surprisingly cool bonus. It is so lightweight that I can carry it along with the rest of my supplies and not be overwhelmed.

They do have a newer version coming out and I may be a little excited to try that out. If you ever need a recommendation on a vacuum...let me know.

Whether it's tidying up or deep cleaning, the positive affects of it are countless.
