👥 Get to Know the Leadership Team: Shawn Hansen

As Director of Business Intelligence & AI, Shawn measures success by helping the business make faster, smarter decisions through accessible, actionable data. His team focuses on transforming information into a competitive advantage, reducing guesswork, streamlining processes, and empowering teams with the insights they need to take action with confidence.

One of Shawn’s most memorable moments at Jeske was collaborating with Erich and David during a focused week in Lake Tahoe, where they built a safety stock calculation system from the ground up. The experience showcased the power of teamwork, problem-solving, and turning a clear goal into a lasting business solution.

Growing up, Shawn wanted to be both a computer programmer and an astronaut. While his career path kept him a bit closer to Earth, his passion for technology, innovation, and discovering new possibilities continues to drive his work every day through the power of AI and data.

🌲 2026 Annual Sales Retreat Recap

The Jeske Hardware Distributors team recently gathered in Eagle River, WI for our 2026 Annual Sales Retreat. The week was filled with company and industry updates, collaborative meetings, and team-building activities, including a scavenger hunt and door lock installation challenge that put our skills to the test.

Of course, it wasn't all business! Team members also enjoyed a pirate ship cruise on the water, time to connect with colleagues, and opportunities to build relationships that help make Jeske stronger. It was a great week of learning, collaboration, and fun as we continue working together to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Serving customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic Territory (NC, VA, MD, DE, and Northeastern TN), Nick believes the best solutions start with understanding the customer. By listening first and taking the time to learn each customer's unique needs, he focuses on delivering the right products, timely answers, and practical solutions that help businesses succeed.

Nick is committed to being a reliable resource for his customers, going the extra mile to find answers, resolve challenges, and provide responsive support every step of the way. One of his favorite parts of working at Jeske has been building strong relationships with customers and coworkers, while enjoying the family-oriented culture that makes Jeske Hardware Distributors a great place to work.

Please join us in welcoming Nate Peterson as the newest Account Manager at Jeske Hardware Distributors! Nate will be serving customers across South Dakota, North Dakota, Eastern Montana, and Northern Nebraska, bringing valuable outside sales experience and a customer-focused approach to the role.

Based in Sioux Falls, Nate enjoys golfing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family when he's not on the road. We're excited to have Nate on board and look forward to the relationships he'll build and the support he'll provide to customers throughout his territory.
