Holy Spirit School

This month’s PUDD money was collected for Battlecorn Global, and today we used our PUDD Day to honor the beautiful memory of Jaycee, a Holy Spirit student, who passed away in 2021 after a courageous 520-day battle with brain cancer. Jaycee was a true superhero whose positive light touched her fellow students, teachers, and the entire community.
After Jaycee’s passing, her now, 8th grade classmates made a promise to keep her memory alive at Holy Spirit School—and in so many special ways, they have continued to keep that promise.
Today, Holy Spirit School came together to celebrate Reading Week and all the magic that books bring into our lives. And we added a little extra magic to the day by remembering Jaycee with her favorite kind of sparkle—magical unicorns, pink, and lots of love.
What a beautiful way to celebrate reading, friendship, community, and a very special superhero who will never be forgotten.
We remember Jaycee. We celebrate her light. And we continue to keep her magic alive.

It was Apple field trip day at Star Orchard for 3K today. (teachers of each class: Mrs. Schmitt and Mrs. Zuleger)

Today was- 'Wild About Reading!'
Everyone got into the spirit by dressing in their favorite animal clothing and costumes, making for a truly wild day of reading and fun! 📖🐾 We also loved seeing our students reading with their buddies and celebrating the joy of reading together!

Book Blast Celebrate Reading Week
Today, our students celebrated “Reading Is My Superhero” by dressing up as their favorite superheroes and showing off their love of reading! 🦸✨Throughout the day, students also participated in Drop Everything and Read, taking 10 minutes during designated times to pause, grab a book, and enjoy the superpower of reading. 📖

Congratulations to our 7th grade girls volleyball team beating St. Ignatius, playing 4 games for the championship.

Just a heads up-Please try and send a light jacket with your child in their backpack to keep on hand for some of the very cold morning recesses we’ve been having.
