¡Hoy tuvimos nuestra primera asamblea del año y celebramos a nuestros primeros estudiantes en recibir el reconocimiento Puma Power! 💛

Como parte de PBIS, enseñamos y practicamos las expectativas que nos ayudan a crear una comunidad escolar positiva. También es importante reconocer a nuestros estudiantes cuando las ponen en práctica.

Este mes reconocimos a estudiantes que constantemente demostraron ser respetuosos, responsables, cuidadosos y amables con los demás.

¡Felicidades a nuestros primeros ganadores de Puma Power! 🐾⚡️ ¡Nos encanta verlos poner en práctica nuestros valores y ser un gran ejemplo para nuestra comunidad escolar!

Join the ABS Governance Board today after school. Look for the ABS FRIENDS buttons to spot our current board members.

Our Governance Board and Committees are POWERED by parent volunteers and we’d love for you to be a part of one of them!

Right now, only 3 out of our ABS families are represented. We’d like at least 10 volunteers! For a charter school that thrives with community support, we simply can’t reach our goals without many helping hands!

Committees meet once a month. They work to help increase awareness of our school in the community and fundraise for the extra things we need as a bilingual school.

Today, students spent time getting to know their classmates, building community, learning routines, and jumping into what it means to be part of their school community. It was so great to see our students reconnecting, making new connections, and engaging in their classrooms!

The weather is expected to remain hot for the rest of the week. ☀️ Please be sure to send a water bottle with your child, if possible. We also recommend loose-fitting, lightweight clothing to help everyone stay cool and comfortable.

✨ Una Nueva Adición a Nuestro Escuela ✨

Esta semana se instaló una nueva obra, transformando un lugar cotidiano en una celebración de quiénes somos como comunidad.

Con los valores de Raíces, Aprendizaje, Respeto y Comunidad, este proyecto refleja el corazón de Appleton Bilingual School. Cada escalón sirve como un recordatorio de que nuestros estudiantes crecen en dos idiomas mientras permanecen conectados con sus raíces, aprenden con curiosidad, tratan a los demás con respeto y construyen una comunidad fuerte juntos.

Nos encanta ver cómo nuestra misión y nuestros valores cobran vida en los espacios que compartimos. ❤️💙💚
