Early detection and care can make a BIG difference. If you notice your pet is showing these signs, give us a call or visit our clinic for an assessment and guidance.

Common Signs of Pet Pain

September is National Service Dog Month, a time to recognize the incredible dogs who help people navigate daily life with greater confidence, independence, and support.

Behind every service dog is a remarkable journey. From puppyhood through advanced training, these dogs spend months, and often years, learning specialized skills tailored to their future partner's needs. Whether guiding, alerting, retrieving, or assisting with daily tasks, service dogs are highly trained working animals dedicated to helping their handlers thrive.

This month, take a moment to learn more about the important roles service dogs play and how you can help them stay focused when you encounter them in public by visiting the link below.

🇺🇸 HOLIDAY CLOSURE NOTICE 🇺🇸

We will be CLOSED on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday weekend! ❤️💙

Happy Labor Day! 🎉

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the professionalism of the vets that made a house call for my 3 dogs. We live in the country and our dogs despise going to the vet's office (smells, other dogs & cats, etc), so when I found out that they did house calls I was all in. They took so much time taking care oir and explaining everything from prices to the health of each dog and what they needs were in a way that we could understand. Our dogs are all caught up with their vaccines, etc and it makes me happy to have it all taken care of. Love Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic. Thank you so much and we will be using them from now on.

Mia's first home visit with Dr. Jain at Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic ! 🐾💕

Safe to say she didn't hold it against him for the pokes... the same CANNOT be said for Elsa and Frogger! 🤣

Thank you again for making vet visits easy-peasy for a chaotic small business owner. Having you come to us takes so much stress out of the day—for both the humans and (most of) the pets! ❤️

If you're tired of loading up your furry family members and dealing with the car drama, give Apple Valley Vet a call. Your pets will thank you... eventually. 😆

Scratch, scratch... sound familiar? If your pet just can't stop itching, allergies could be to blame. Help them trade the scratching for tail wags and zoomies with the right care.

A microchip can help reunite your pet with your family if the worst case should happen. But it only works as intended when the contact information connected to it is accurate.

National Check the Chip Day is a simple reminder to look up your pet's registration and make updates if needed. Misplaced your pet's microchip number? Give us a call to find out how our staff can help.

Back-to-school season means new schedules, quieter homes, and routines that look a little different. Whether it is a family dog watching the kids get on the bus or a cat whose college student owner just moved out, pets notice these changes.

A little planning goes a long way. Keeping routines consistent, offering enrichment, and easing pets into time alone can help them adjust as the household shifts.
