Dare to Say, “Enough!”
As we continue our 2027 Generosity Appeal, Dare to Say, “Enough!”, we’re exploring what Scripture teaches us about money, possessions and contentment.
Last week, we explored Wisdom and Finance and how biblical principles can guide the way we manage our money and avoid common cultural traps.
This Sunday at the Downtown Site and October 11 at the North Site, we’ll explore Cultivating Contentment. What does it mean to resist the desire for more and live with greater gratitude for what we already have?
Join us for worship as we consider how we can respond to God’s generosity in our own lives.
Commitment Sunday is October 18.

Third Grade Bible Class: Third graders and their families are invited to join us TONIGHT! Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. in Downtown Site, Rm. 110. Please let Jenny ([email protected]) know if you plan to attend. Third graders will receive their Bibles at the worship service of their choice on Sunday, Oct. 4.
Lutheran World Relief Ingathering: Our quilters have made over 285 quilts for this year's Lutheran World Relief Ingathering on Saturday, Oct. 3. We need your help hosting the Ingathering!
Help us load quilts and kits from across the state of Wisconsin in the semi-truck on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 7 a.m. to noon at the North Site. Visit www.felc.com ingathering to volunteer.
Also! If you can help bring quilts and kits from the Downtown Site to the North Site, please join us after the 10:30 a.m. service today (10/27).

Need dinner plans tonight?
Join the Men’s Ministry for their Final Picnic of 2026!
The FELC Men’s Ministry will be serving their last Picnic in the Garden of the 2026 season this Thursday, Sept. 24, from 4:30–6 p.m. in the Seeds of Grace Garden at the Downtown Site.
Join them as they celebrate another successful summer by enjoying a brat, burger or hot dog in fellowship with our neighbors. Be sure to bring your appetite, a lawn chair and a friend!
