Appleton American Legion Post No. 38

As Post 38 Legionnaires, these are our guiding principles that we choose to embrace.
The American Legion Post 38 is guided by the Legion's Four Pillars of Service: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. The Appleton American Legion Family consists of American Legion Post No. 38, Auxiliary Unit No. 38, the Sons of the American Legion Squadron No. 38, and the American Legion Riders. The National American Legion organization itself was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest veterans service organization, committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.

The Appleton American Legion Post 38 would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who showed up at the crack of dawn to set up, work and take down our ticket and wristband booth at this year's Octoberfest. We operated as a well-oiled machine and that could not have been accomplished without the help of our volunteer staff for this event. Legionnaires/Legion Family - You Rocked it!
A gracious "thank you" to all those who stopped by our booth to purchase tickets and wristbands. We were kept busy by your support. Hopefully, your patronage of our sales boot will reap big rewards.
Again, a heartfelt thank you to all. You are what makeas our American Legion Post 38 great!
