These parkas are solid. They come with a fleece lining and water-resistant outer fabric. A hood is hidden in the collar. Two slant pockets. Full-zip front. Snow skirt included.

Featuring Romania’s current-issue M2017 camo, these parkas are surprisingly feature-rich pieces from one of the surplus community’s favorite nations. M2017 is a generally brown-dominant fractal pattern. Preceded by dupes of British DPM, Romanian M2017 is the nation’s first mass-manufactured domestic pattern since m1990/94. Like the pattern, the design and materials of these parkas are just as much of a leap forward.

With four frontal pockets, a detachable hood, a snow skirt, hidden rib-knit cuffs, and ample insulation, these jackets offer more than many store-bought alternatives. Fleece lining along the interior of the jacket, hood, and collar provides both warmth and a surprisingly soft feel. Interestingly, these jackets also feature two zip-up vents, temperature control that helps you maintain an ideal amount of warmth. Compared to your classic Romanian parka, these are lighter, more maneuverable, more feature-rich, and arguably easier to layer with.
