We recently hosted an Urban Tree Care workshop at Mosquito Hill Nature Center with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to learn about proper tree planting and pruning with Dr. Rich Hauer of Eocene. The morning featured classroom learning, with a chance to put things into hands-on practice in the afternoon.

Join us in congratulating two area farmers for their wins at the World Forage Analysis Superbowl! Paul Keune took home the First Time Entrant award and Aaron Barclay was selected as the Grand Champion Forage Producer of the show, making him the highest ranking in the United States! Kevin Jarek, Regional Crops and Soils Educator says "This is a huge deal! Entrants chase this their whole lives!" Paul and Aaron both have a long history of working with Extension education, outreach and research projects.
Congratulations Paul and Aaron!

There's still time to register to join us virtually on Thursdays, from 11am - Noon September 10th through October 22nd for Planning AHEAD! Planning AHEAD is a seven session holistic end-of-life planning program that will guide participants through Advance directives, Handling financial changes, Estate Planning, and Arriving at Decisions for the end of this life.
