Tuesday was our last full day and another BEAUTIFUL day in Ireland! 🌞☘️We explored the Glendalough Valley (renowned for its spectacular scenery and the 6th-century Early Medieval monastic settlement founded by St. Kevin 🪦✝️) and Avondale House 🏡, and we were treated to a wonderful experience, Beyond the Trees Avondale, Ireland's longest treetop walkway, where breathtaking views of the lush forest await. 🌲🌳 This attraction blends nature with history.
We finished our day with an unbelievable Hooley show at Johnnie Fox’s. The dinner was spectacular and the entertainment was even better! 🎸🪈 We even had a couple of our own travelers join the Irish Dancers. 🕺 It was a great last day! Ireland gave us many reasons to return! ☘️

The Boychoir was off to Dublin on Sunday. ☘️ The boys had the FANTASTIC opportunity to sing Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Famous Palestrina Boychoir!! 🎶🎼 WOW! 🤩
We enjoyed the continued sunshine, 🌞 and during the afternoon, the boys visited Trinity College and were guided through this ancient campus, home of the famous Book of Kells, 📖an 8th-century illuminated manuscript celebrated for its intricate artistry and considered one of Ireland’s greatest cultural treasures. We learned so much!

Monday began with a panoramic sightseeing city tour of Dublin including historic buildings of the GPO, O’Connell Street, Georgian Dublin, St. Patricks Cathedral, Christ Church, Dublin Castle, and City Hall ending in the Phoenix Park. Dublin, Ireland’s capital, is one of the friendliest cities in the world. 🚍
The boys final tour concert in Christ Church Cathedral Dublin was one they will always remember! ⛪️ It was amazing to sing in a cathedral that is over 1000 years old!!
Following the concert we headed to Windmill Lane Recording Studios! 🎧🎶💿 The boys were surprised to find out that they were going to record here (not just tour!) 🤯 It was an UNFORGETTABLE experience to record TWO songs! The Rolling Stones, U2, Hozier, Lady Gaga and Ed Sheeran, Dave Grohl, The Cranberries, REM, and MANY more have recorded here! 🤩❤️ What a day!!! 🥰

Saturday brought the SUN , ☀️ 😎 and a fantastic day for the Boychoir travelers to visit the dramatic Cliffs of Moher rising 650 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and extending for 5 miles. A walk along te clifftop offered breathtaking views in all directions. This area is home to thousands of seabirds, 🐧 including puffins and razorbills, the area is also a designated UNESCO Global Geopark.
The boys (and companions ) enjoyed a Sheepdog demonstration in the afternoon against a backdrop of a 1,000 year old fort.
We saw the captivating collies 🐾 showcase their skills in a herding demonstration 🐏🐑.
A wonderful day!!

The Boychoir travelers did not allow a little rain to deter, and the step count skyrocketed as we covered a lot of ground on Friday. ☔️🌧️ We started the day with a visit to Kilkenny Castle, a stunning example of medieval architecture set in beautiful gardens.🏰
We continued the day with the Shenanigans walking tour of Medieval Kilkenny. Our guide, Nevin, entertained us with interesting stories, magic, and much humor. 🎭🪄🤣
Families then enjoyed lunch and some free time to shop and explore the city.
The boys had an afternoon rehearsal and tour of St Canice’s Cathedral. 🎼🎶 The Mayor of Kilkenny stopped by and welcomed us to the city. We finished the day with an Evening Exchange Concert at St. Canice's Cathedral with the Killkenny Gospel Choir. 🎶 (We are thrilled that this concert raised funds for a local charity.)
I am sure all slept well after a very full day! 😴💤
