🎶 Meet the Team – Shahnnon 🎶
Education Account Manager 🍎

For Shahnnon, music has always been connected to family, fun, and the people around her. One early musical memory even includes borrowing her mom’s baton to do a little conducting.

Today, Shahnnon brings that connection to music into her role as an Education Account Manager at Heid Music. One of her favorite memories on the job was helping connect a director with a working tuba just days before Solo & Ensemble.

“I felt like a superhero, and it reminds me that what I do is very important.”

Outside of work, cycling has become a big part of Shahnnon's life. She loves riding with friends around Green Bay and recently made it all the way to Pulaski on the trail, with Bonduel next on the list. She also enjoys making silly videos with her ocarina and EWI and is looking forward to playing the Zelda remake when it comes out.

Before a performance, Shahnnon has a routine that helps her settle in. Along with practicing, she puts on her headphones and listens to Yes’s acoustic version of “Australia.” The song reminds her of time spent with her dad and helps her feel calmer and more centered before performing. 🎶

And then there are the animals. Shahnnon’s three cats are all named after cheese: Gorgonzola, better known as Zola, Muenster, and Xena-Fontina. Muenster even makes an appearance in this post, along with Louis, one of Shahnnon’s favorite dogs to babysit. 🐱🐶

For Shahnnon, helping educators and musicians find what they need is an important part of the work she does at Heid Music, and her own love of music continues well beyond the workday. 💙

Music can open the door to creativity, confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of learning. 🎶

This Kids Music Day, October 2, we’re celebrating the importance of music education and all the opportunities that can begin with a child’s very first note.

Whether your young musician is getting ready for band or orchestra, exploring an instrument for the first time, or simply curious about making music, Heid Music is here to help make that beginning feel welcoming and manageable.

From finding the right instrument to answering those first questions along the way, we’re here to help kickstart their musical journey and support them as they grow.

Here’s to helping more kids discover what music can bring into their lives. 💙

Here’s Week 27, and this strap is ready to make a statement. 👀🎸

The Levy’s MP2-007 Suede Harmony Series is giving us the creeps, with a little throwback. Its bold geometric pattern may have horror fans seeing visions of endless hotel hallways and wondering what’s waiting around the next corner.

Made with durable printed polyester, premium leather ends, and an adjustable fit, it brings a standout look and dependable comfort to your setup.

You might even want to keep playing forever... and ever... and ever.

All work and no play? Not around here.
