⚡ LIGHTNING FEST IS THIS FRIDAY! ⚡

We’re switching things up for Homecoming this year! Instead of the traditional parade, we’re bringing the North community together for Lightning Fest before the big game! 💙💛

Come hang out, check out booths from North athletics, clubs and organizations, grab some food, and enjoy a little Homecoming fun before we take on Kimberly! 🏈

📅 Friday, October 2 | 3:30–6:30 PM
📍 Appleton North
🎶 Theme: MTV ’86

Students, families, alumni and the entire North community are invited. Come out and help us kick off Homecoming night the North way! ⚡

WE ARE NORTH! 💙💛

We are ready for you! Come join us for our family fun night right now from 5:30-7! We have games, bingo, popcorn, a local illustrator reading her book and a snake! Make sure to take some of our donated books home with you!

📸 Picture Day is Wednesday, September 23rd📸

Happiest of birthdays to Victoria Cyman! She is our amazing Social Events Coordinator. She is responsible for our Badger Bashes, Herd games, and Globe ice skating events. She is always at PTO meetings and volunteering at other events.

We hope she has an amazing day!

So, what do we do with all the money we fundraise?

One of our biggest goals is to put it right back into our school!

Fundraising dollars help provide:
🚌 Buses for field trips
📚 Supplies and resources for classrooms
🧡 Things our students and staff need to make their year a success
🎉 Social events and fun experiences for our Sandy Slope families, like the School Dance, Trunk or Treat, Field Day, etc
⚽️ And so much more!

Recently, we had the opportunity to help pay for new soccer goals, and it has been SO fun to see them being put to use by our students at recess! ⚽️🙌

This is exactly why we fundraise-to make a difference right here at Sandy Slope and give our students and families more opportunities to learn, play, connect, and grow.

Thank you for supporting our PTO and helping us give back to our school! We truly couldn’t do it without you! 🧡🩵

The last day of school brought our first annual LIGHT run! Thank you so much to our sponsors Engage Orthodontics - Appleton and Appleton Fire Department and our PTO families for the donations to make our run so fun!

And thank you to our volunteers who came out to help make the event a success.

A special thank you to Mrs Freeman for putting it all together!
