FYI:)

MMW Moms & Mugs just got BETTER!
Our free community mom groups now have special guest speakers! We will have a variety of topics and professionals popping in to educate YOU, mama! Follow along to find a topic that interests you. Here's what we have coming up for October:

October 1st at Wellness Center :
Emalie, one of MMW's certified babywearing educators, will chat all about apron style carriers such as Sakura Bloom Scouts and Hope and Plum Larks. We have both of these brands in our carrier library and you will get the chance to try them on!

October 6th at Life Chiropractic :
Emalie will be back again to teach about the opposite style of soft structure carriers, waterfalls! These include Mabe and Tula - which again we have in our carrier library for you to try on.

October 16th at Flow Family Chiropractic :
Flow's very own, Dr. Rachel, will be joining us to chat all about newborn chiropractic care! Learn all about what you can expect, benefits, importance, and even watch her give her own little Micah an adjustment so you can see just how intentional and gentle infant adjustments are.

We can't wait to have you join our motherhood community and learn together along the way.

Providers, if you are interested in speaking at a group, please reach out!

As always with love,
your MMW crew

Welcome to the world, Micah! šŸ’™

This sweet 7 lb 10 oz baby boy was born at the BirthWise birth center after just a 5½-hour labor—and for a first-time mom, he certainly didn’t waste much time making his entrance!

Could staying properly aligned have had a little something to do with it? šŸ˜‰ Mom is the owner of Flow Family Chiropractic and has spent her career helping countless women feel their best throughout pregnancy. It was so special to see her on the other side this time—experiencing a healthy pregnancy and an absolutely beautiful birth of her own baby boy.

We are so happy for this wonderful new family and grateful they trusted us to be a small part of such a big moment in their lives. šŸ’›

Welcome, Micah!

Welcome to the world, sweet Mariah! šŸ’•

This beautiful 7 lb 2 oz baby girl was born peacefully at home. This was Mom’s first home birth experience, and we were so honored to be a part of such a special day for their family.

Congratulations and welcome, Mariah! 🄰

Some reviews just stop us in our tracks. šŸ¤

Birth is about so much more than the day a baby arrives. How a woman is cared for, listened to, supported, and respected throughout pregnancy and birth can stay with her for a lifetime.

To hear someone describe her experience with BirthWise as ā€œlife changingā€ā€”especially after previous birth experiences had left her deeply fearful—is incredibly meaningful to our entire team.

This is why we do what we do. Not to promise a certain kind of birth, but to provide individualized, compassionate care where women feel informed, supported, and genuinely cared for every step of the way.

Thank you for trusting us with such an important chapter of your story. 🌿

Welcome to the world, Kirk! šŸ’™

This sweet 7 lb 8 oz baby boy is number four for this seasoned momma! She arrived at the BirthWise birth center ready to meet her little guy, and just three hours later, Kirk was in her arms.

Sometimes those experienced bodies know exactly what to do! Congratulations to this wonderful family, and welcome, Kirk!

Sometimes the sweetest part of welcoming a new baby is watching a sibling fall in love. šŸ’›

Welcome to baby boy Elias, 8 lb 2 oz, born at home!

This family is near and dear to our hearts, and we were so honored to walk alongside them again. Their last little one needed to arrive a little early and was born in the hospital, while Elias had a very different plan—staying cozy until close to 42 weeks!

And then there’s big sister Olivia. In every photo, there she is- inquisitive, gentle, patient, and completely captivated by her new little brother. Watching her quietly take in all the little details of Elias and this new chapter for their family is just the sweetest.

Welcome, Elias!

✨ DID YOU KNOW? Your due date isn’t actually a deadline.

Only about 5% of babies are born on their estimated due date. Your ā€œdue dateā€ is really an estimate- one point within a normal window of time when your baby may be ready to arrive. Some babies come at 38 weeks. Some at 40. Some stay cozy into the 41st week and beyond.

As midwives, we don’t look at the calendar alone. We look at the whole picture: how mom is doing, how baby is doing, movement, growth, testing when indicated, and any individual risk factors.

Every pregnancy is different. Every baby is different. And sometimes… babies have their own timeline. šŸ’›

Oh, sweet Jonas! šŸ’™ Welcome to the world, little guy!

This handsome 9 lb 10 oz chunk made his arrival at the birth center, just 7 hours after Mom’s water broke. This was baby #3 for this family, but their very first out-of-hospital birth—and we were so honored to be part of it.

There’s something so special about watching a family experience birth in a whole new way, especially while welcoming their third little one into the family. 🄰

Look at this relaxed little sweetie! 🄰

Welcome to the world, Rosalie! šŸ’• 8 lbs 6 oz of pure sweetness.

This little girl is already surrounded by so much love- not only from Mom and Dad, but from FOUR older sisters and one older brother! What a lucky little lady to have such a big crew ready to love, snuggle, and spoil her.

Congratulations to this beautiful family, and welcome, Rosalie!
