Appleton North High School

Varsity football to Neenah 21-14 on Friday, and our own Lori Fahrenholz was there and took some excellent pictures.

Cross-country results from Saturday. Varsity girls took 4th out of 37 teams, while varsity boys took 6th out of 48 teams. The JV teams also had a strong day, with the girls finishing 5th out of 22 and the boys 7th out of 27.

Appleton North girls' tennis went 2-1 this week. After beating FVL and Fond du Lac on senior night, they fell to Neenah in a battle for the FVA conference title. The Lightning finish in 2nd place heading into postseason tournaments next week.

Congratulations to Boys Volleyball on their three-set victory over Hortonville. As usual, we are grateful to have Lori Fahrenholz taking these great pictures!

Mark your calendars, next week is a big one! Happy Homecoming! Tickets for the dance will be available in the commons each lunch hour.

Huge shoutout to the Appleton North Girl Up Club for donating over 60 homecoming dresses to our friends in Menasha!

Three Stories. Three Questions. One Season.

The first question takes the stage:

WHO AM I?

Appleton North Theatre begins its 2026 One Act journey with Twelfth Night, or What You Will.

After a shipwreck leaves Viola stranded in Illyria, she disguises herself as a man and enters a world where appearances are rarely what they seem. Through shifting identities and tangled affections, the comedy explores gender roles, self discovery, and the search to understand who we are and where we belong.

Our production reimagines Feste as an ensemble of Commedia dell’arte performers, bringing fresh movement, humor, and energy to Shakespeare’s classic.

One Act is a competitive theatre format in which our cast and crew begin at District and may advance to Sectional and State if they qualify.
