McKinley Elementary PTO

See you all tonight!! Still looking for a few more last minute volunteer spots to be filled, but it should be a great way to get together with other McKinley families and soak up some of the last good weather of the year!

NEXT UP is going to be Conference week, which is the 13th and 15th this year. For PTO, that means book fair week, and Conference Meals week to support our teachers! Watch out for details on that this weekend!

This coming Friday is McKinley Elementary's annual Fall Fest!!

We're still looking for a few more volunteers. Sign up below to help out. We structured it so it's either the first half or second half, so if you are planning to attend, you will still have plenty of time to get some food and enjoy the event!

Hope to see you all there!!

Happy First Day of School everybody!!!

It was so "cool" (no pun intended in this heat...) seeing all the families dropping off this morning, all the smiles on those little faces as they get to meet their classmates and get into the classrooms to kick off another year!

Our PTO Vice President, Rylee, made sure the teachers were well stocked in the lounge with all the energy they will need to keep moving through this heat!! Drinks in the fridge, ice in the freezer, and plenty of sugar to keep the energy levels up!!

We do have a PTO meeting coming up next week, September 10th. If you are looking for ways to be a more active, involved parent and hear what's going on around the school, we'd love to hear from you!

💙💛🐾Welcome back McKinley staff!!💙💛🐾

We welcomed our amazing staff back this morning with some Coffee and Donuts to kick off the new school year! We need these teachers, and these teachers need their coffee!

There's something uniquely special about a school year. While every workplace sets apart fiscal years, educators have the opportunity to fully close one chapter, step away for the summer, and return with a new staff, new changes, new classes, and new energy. It was so exciting seeing them all reunite after their summer, energized and ready to tackle the next school year!

And of course, we could count on our friends at Dunkin of Appleton to support our school and our community! 🩷🧡 https://www.facebook.com/DunkinAppletonWI

Here's to you, Teachers! Go get 'em! See you on Wednesday for Meet and Greet!

☀️ HAPPY SUMMER! ☀️

As we close out the school year, we just want to say THANK YOU to all of you for your support throughout this past school year. With your help, we raised almost $4,500 from our restaurant nights! 🤩 This will go a long ways in helping with field trips, hosting our fun events and supporting the school and teacher’s in various ways. We also could not have hosted all of our fun events without all of our volunteers, thank you so much! 🙌

We also have some exciting news to share… beginning next year, McKinley PTA will become McKinley PTO! Many of our events and things will stay the same but there will be some exciting changes as well! We can’t wait to share this with all of you!

REMINDER: Tomorrow, May 19 from 4-8pm is our Tom’s night! Mention you are there for McKinley PTA. Can eat in or order through the drive through. Enjoy a night off of cooking! 🍟🍔🥤🍦

We appreciate all your support this year!

Skip cooking and join us for one last restaurant night! Tuesday, May 19 from 4-8pm.

Let them know you are there for McKinley!

This week we are celebrating the staff at McKinley for Teacher Appreciation Week!! We are blessed with amazing teachers and staff at McKinley!

🌈“We’re over the rainbow thankful for our staff!” 🌈
