Pastor Jason brought the word today with a white board, a field trip, and interactive sermon all on throwing stones.

Our Sunday gatherings start with a song and then we celebrate communion together while singing two songs. We read scripture and talk about it with a message. And we close with a song and circle up for the blessing.

Join us in person or on zoom at 11am. 💕

Join folx from Catalyst to walk before service tomorrow!

Arcata Out of the Darkness Community Walk
Arcata Plaza, check in at 9am, walk at 10am.

The Out of the Darkness Experience is hosted by the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. This walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our community and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which su***de and mental illness have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about. There will be local resources, light refreshments (while they last), and brief programming before the approx. 3 mile walk throughout Arcata begins. Registration check-in begins at 9am on walk day. Be sure to register in advance. Funds raised at this event benefit the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention.

Every Wednesday we gather around steaming bowls of beans and rice. We read scripture and share our lives and eat cookies and pray together.

All are welcome!

We began this season’s CatalystKIDS ministry this Sunday with a lesson taught to the congregation on the parable of the Good Shepherd and then the kids went to our new classroom for play, craft, and snack.

We’ve been using the Montessori program called Godly Play which connects kids to wonder, curiosity, and joy in scripture and community!
