What an insightful day at the AMFP Greater Philadelphia - Association of Medical Facility Professionals 4th Annual Healthcare Summit at the Union League.

Thanks to keynote speaker Anthony Mazzarelli of Cooper Norcross Health and all the moderators and panelists that contributed to a robust program of relevant topics affecting healthcare design and construction.

Our Principal Phil Burkett AIA, WELL AP, LEED AP, NCARB spoke on the panel discussion “Clarity Over Speed: AI Across the Healthcare Facilities Lifecycle” which explored what responsible, forward-thinking AI adoption looks like for healthcare facilities.

Key takeaways from the panel:

➡ Evaluating the ROI of an AI solution requires looking beyond financial returns to understand its broader benefits, impacts, and implications

Thank you to Ciel Senior Living and Redico for marking this milestone. We’re excited to join all of our project partners to bring this beautiful community to seniors of Rehobeth Beach!

Samara House, our new 24,000 SF addition to Stonegates is set on a picturesque 36-acre campus in Greenville, Delaware.

Through master planning and design consultation, we worked closely with Stonegates to assess existing assets, identify opportunities for renewal, and align future development with resident needs and market expectations.

Inspired by the samara, the winged maple seed that finds its place naturally, Samara House is designed around the belief that supported living should feel as refined and personal as any chapter of life.

The buildings form draws from the samara seed itself, its graceful, curving geometry echoing the natural arc of a maple seed in flight.

Our design inspiration includes wood and stone accents that ground Samara House in its natural surroundings and the materials and craftsmanship found throughout the Stonegates landscape.

The courtyard features a revolving bronze samara sculpture by artist and sculptor André Harvey.

Nature is woven throughout, from a lush green roof and terraces to serene courtyards that invite residents to unwind and connect with the landscape.

A living tapestry of drought-tolerant sedums, coreopsis, and meadow flowers transform this rooftop into a thriving habitat…

…reducing stormwater runoff, cutting energy costs, and supporting local pollinators.

What an exciting evening joining our friends at Bentley Systems and Cesium at the grand opening of their new Philadelphia office. Thank you to Mayor Cherelle L. Parker for cutting the ribbon to officially mark the opening of this one-of-a-kind office in the Curtis Center!

We’re excited to announce Jessica Lee as the newest member of our FF+E Procurement and Selection team as an FF+E Procurement Specialist!

In this role, Jessica will support procurement and installations for by our Senior Living and Multifamily projects and continue to strengthen our valued relationships with the most reputable vendors and manufacturers in the industry.

An Interior Design graduate of Thomas Jefferson University, Jessica has 10+ years of experience providing FF+E expertise for hospitality and high-end residential projects for design firms and developers in the Philadelphia region.

A devoted foodie, Jessica loves traveling and exploring new cultures through food - from fore-themed, Michelin star menus in Madrid to hidden local favorites in Japan!

Rain kept us inside but couldn’t stop our Field Day in support of the ALS Hope Foundation ‘Duck ALS’ campaign.

Staff split into teams and competed in activities meant to replicate the daily challenges overcome by people living with ALS.

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is diagnosed in more than 5,000 people each year and results in muscle weakness, difficulty walking, talking, and grasping objects, paralysis and more.
