Rhodie is dog-friendly, housebroken and crate trained. He’d make a wonderful companion for an individual or family with children over 6. His ideal home includes plenty of sturdy toys—and squirrels who don’t mind being closely supervised! 🐿️😂

We love our rescue partners, and they don’t come any better than The Duke and Oliver Foundation ! 💜 Foster girl Shayla was happy to lend a paw as eight Pawprint Oxygen Kits were delivered to the Lewisville Fire Department this week. Her foster sister, HT alum Luna, assisted in taking two more to the Justin Fire Dept.

These special kits help firefighters provide lifesaving oxygen to pets rescued from fires and other emergencies. Because when the whole family needs rescuing, it means the whole family.

Huge thanks to the Duke and Oliver Foundation for helping make sure our community’s first responders have the tools they need to save every member of the family!

And Shayla would like it noted that she takes her duties as Official Canine Delivery Supervisor very seriously. 😉 Luna just thought these handsome guys were a fan club for her.

💕This , meet Coco, our pint-sized senior sweetheart who proves that age is just a number!

🦋She may be a little older, but she’s still full of charm, curiosity, and gentle joy! Coco loves playing with toys, watching the neighborhood from the window, and gets especially excited when she spots a butterfly floating by.

🐾Her crate is her cozy comfort zone, where she happily naps or relaxes. Coco came to Humane Tomorrow with her companion, Lil Bit, after their person sadly passed away. While they get along well, Coco is an independent little lady and would do perfectly fine as an only dog.

🦴Coco is good with dogs, housetrained, walks well on a leash, and would do best in a home with kids over 10. She isn’t a big barker and has a calm, easygoing nature. As a senior, she also qualifies for our half-price adoption fee.

🎩This , meet Lil Bit, the sweetest little senior gentleman you could ever hope to meet!

🐾At 11 years old and 17 pounds, he’s a mild-mannered, soft-hearted pup with extra-long legs, extra-tall ears, and the most dignified graying face. He’s definitely a mixed breed, but his charm is unmistakably one of a kind.

🦴Lil Bit and his sister, Coco, came to Humane Tomorrow after their person sadly passed away. While they’re comfortable together, they are not strongly bonded and can be adopted separately.

💕This gentle boy has a passive, easygoing nature and is happy to let other dogs take the lead. He would also thrive as an only dog, getting all the cuddles and attention. He may be a little reserved at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet, affectionate love bug personality shines through!

🐶Lil Bit is housetrained, walks beautifully on leash, and isn’t much of a barker. Because he’s a senior, he qualifies for our half price adoption fee. He is also good with dogs and would do well in a home with kids over the age of 10.

🐾Today’s feature is Penny!

❤️‍🩹Sweet Penny and her five siblings have completely stolen the hearts of our volunteers over the past few weeks. Last weekend, however, Penny suddenly became very ill. Volunteers noticed she was barely eating and vomiting what little she did manage to keep down, so she was taken to the ER for urgent care.

🩺At the emergency clinic, Penny was incredibly brave as she underwent multiple diagnostic tests and bloodwork panels. Thankfully, she tested negative for Parvo, and veterinarians determined that her symptoms were likely caused by dehydration and mild anemia. Penny spent the night in the ER receiving fluids and supportive care, and by the next day she was able to return to her siblings.

💸Penny’s emergency visit totaled $1,200. Thanks to the treatment she received, she is now back to her sassy and rambunctious self. Her recovery was made possible by the generosity of those who support Humane Tomorrow’s Mercy Fund. Your contributions ensure that animals like Penny can receive lifesaving care the moment they need it.
