Josh Fails Math Tutoring

Hey everyone! Haven’t posted in a while but we’re back from summer trip and I’m looking for new students. I can help with any summer math classes you or friends may be taking, or online school program giving you trouble. On top of teaching for 10 years I’ve helped students pass their only math college course, complete homeschool programs in a timely manner, correctly work with fractions and decimals, and I make sure all my students feel more confident in their own math skills. I can drive to you and I am available weekdays after 3, and anytime on weekends. Please message me on Facebook or check out my Nextdoor page if you are interested!

Hi all! Finals are coming up for all students! If you’d like some help for upcoming tests or just need some general help please message me! I’m very patient with all learners and will make sure my students leave tutoring with more confidence moving forward. Hope everyone has a great Friday and personally I’m crossing my fingers for some snow! :)

Hi my name is Josh Fails. I have taught for ten years in all math from 6th grade to College Algebra for community colleges. I have my Masters and Bachelors in Math in Education. I now work full time for CO Dept. Of Education on weekdays. My partner and I moved our three kids up here a few years ago and love the Arvada area. I’m offering my tutoring services for any students who need assistance getting a handle on their math subjects, getting homework completed with extra practice, and hearing simplified explanations in which I follow your students' thinking to lead them with a method that works best for them. Each student is unique and sees math differently, so I build their personal logic and skills to move them to success.

If you need times outside what I’ve listed just contact me and we can work something out.
For rates I’m keeping the price low and based on challenge level. 8th grade and lower is $30 an hour, High School level is $40 an hour except for Dual Credit and AP classes, and $50 an hour for Dual Credit, AP, and other College Level Courses.
