One TRICK to making a small space look larger. Continuity of your flooring. I hate when I show houses and you can stand in one spot and see every room has different flooring.

I have been in the real estate arena for a long time. I ran across this article this morning and I am appalled. People are so taken advantage of in so many ways and think about it, they are trapped, they have to work to pay the rent, so many will pay it. IT IS JUST NOT RIGHT.

I noticed water flowing into my home office from the stair closet. I went to the closet and water was everywhere. It was seeping from somewhere under the hot water heater. I called Carson Plumbing, they immediately told me I needed a new one but I learned something I want to pass on.
Every year you should drain your hot water heater. Simply add a hose, turn the screw and let the old water and sediment flow outside. I learned that a couple of years ago but never did it and............it was a good thing I did not. This is what I learned
If you do not drain the tank within the first two years DON'T. The plumber informed me that by that time the sediment has already formed to where it could be harmful to the tank.
You best believe mine will be drained once a year.
