We had our last shots and checkup. We are now heart murmur free!!!

Now, we smell like flowers.

Looks like this little Georgia girls's journey is starting over again. She's charting 4 lbs grown, so I will be picky about her.
Okay. So here is her story and full disclosure.
She and her two sibling (I lost one) were delivered via emergency c-section. The mom was not well and I tube fed them by hand until the mom could pick up the feedings. The girl did not pick up weight as quickly as her brother and at 6 weeks she was still under one pound. She did not go to the vet for her first set of puppy shots until 9 weeks. At that time, her open fontanel (soft spot) was referenced and her slight heart murmur was noted. The vet was certain both would resolve themselves in time. The soft spot is closing and should be closed by 6 months old (fi not before) but the murmur was there two weeks ago when she went back to the vet for a check up. With both of these issues, her guarantee has an additional line that if she is to pass away due to her heart murmur (as long as continually noted by your vet), you will get a replacement puppy at half cost. I would like to speak to your vet for a reference and am happy to share my vet information so you can speak to mine regarding this baby girl.
I do not think her murmur will cause any problems. If I did, I would keep her and not put a family through that. She is due for her 3rd set of puppy shots on/around the 12th.

Yeah !!! Our test results are back and these two are perfect. The darker face is the boy and the lighter is the girl.

All of your prayers helped save these babies. I did lose one of the three the vet delivered but these two thrived. They are doing so well but are so tiny that I am holding tight for a little while longer. There's is one girl and one boy. I have sent of their samples for testing. After their results come back, I will update their status and see about making travel plans.

Any of my breeder friends have brands new babies? My momma is not able to take care of her babies.

I love getting updates from families. These boys are 4 and 5. They are momma's boys and she loves them.
