Writing to Win
Writing2Win is a most effective tool for mastering course content, improving critical-thinking and written expression, and excelling on annual assessments.
Writing to Win began in the 1980s based on the theory and practice of Flannery O'Connor and The National Writing Project. It parallels the educational research of Douglas Reeves (90-90-90 schools), Toby Fulwiler (The Journal Book), Rei Noguchi (sentence-combining grammar) and David Sousa (brain studies). Its rigorous pedagogical approach provides clear patterns, examples and guidance so that students at every level understand their own writing challenges and learn what to do about them. It also provides teachers with structure and professional development to become confident coaches along the way. THE RESULT: rapid, significant improvement in written expression and performance on tests of knowledge in all content areas.
