We invite community partners to submit events and stories that highlight collaboration, connection, and belonging across Athens County. If your work brings people together or shows what becomes possible when we pull up a chair, we’d love to hear from you.

The Athens County Foundation is grounded in a simple approach: invest in community strengths, build meaningful relationships, learn together, and align efforts to create greater impact across Athens County.

Strengths+Strengths grew from this approach.

S+S supports local social sector leaders and administrators (the social sector comprises organizations that serve the public good) by strengthening connections, sharing tools, expanding capacity through learning, and building a strong system of support for those serving the community.

ACF recognizes that our community already holds deep strengths. Through S+S, we build on and expand those strengths, helping people and organizations do more, together.
