Our seed library is full of seeds from our seed sorting! We hope you can make it to our next sorting event and help us keep the seeds flowing.

Join us for some time in the air with Canopy! Aerial dancers with Canopy Studio will be outside the library to demonstrate their high-flying artistic feats. After the performance, you'll get the chance to try it for yourself. Don't miss this rare chance to fly!

Do you love Scrabble? Join us at the ACC Library on June 28th for our Summer Scrabble Club. Place your tiles, earn points, and take home a prize! This event is free and family-friendly, ages 8 and up to play. If you have questions, please contact the Reference Desk at 706-613-3650.

Calling all summer crafters! Have you started a new project and are in need of yarn, thread, stickers, or something else? Do you have extra supplies from your last project? Then our Summer Art & Craft Supply Swap is for you! Stop by the library on Saturday, June 27 from 10-1 and share some inspiration with your fellow crafters. No donation needed to participate.

New to email or need a refresher? In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to send and receive emails, manage your inbox, add attachments, and recognize spam or phishing messages. We’ll go over common features like CC, BCC, folders, and search tools—plus tips for writing clear, effective messages. Whether you're using Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or another service, you’ll leave with the skills to communicate confidently and safely by email.

The library has an outstanding new resource! Our collection is designed to support multi-disciplinary discussions and research on the impact and experience of African Americans as recorded by the news media. Just a reminder that all Athens Regional Libraries will be closed Friday, June 19th, for Juneteenth.

The Athens-Clarke County Library is proud to host another American Red Cross blood drive!

Come to the library and donate a pint of blood to help someone in need. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. Join us at the Athens-Clarke County Library on Thursday, July 16th, for a fun afternoon of plant swapping from 4 PM to 6 PM! Plants, seeds, cuttings, sprouts, and bulbs are all welcome.

We'll also have a Master Gardener on-hand to help identify plants and offer some plant care tips!
