Primary focuses of the program include food insecurity, nutrition education, and emotional support for individuals living with chronic stress. Our members

Part of the magic of COMCorps is the ability for our host site partners to mobilize all of our members to Get Things Done! Every COMCorps member served at Community Food Initiatives this year through National Days of Service, teaching Sprouts lessons to 1st graders, supporting Donation Station and Veggie Van operations, helping with the annual Seed Potato, Plant Start, and Seed Giveaways, tending to the OU Student Farm and the Vest Plot, and supporting Discovery Kitchen workshops!

Thank you so much to all of the COMCorps an AmeriCorps Program members who shared their dedication, talents and compassion with CFI's programs - distributing food, engaging youth and supporting CFI's annual potato, seed and plant start giveaway events! As the week wraps up, these 25 members will have completed 40,700 hours serving our community through their partner host sites.

For 17 years CFI has been a host site for COMCorps members. Tag an alum if you served with CFI!
