What's your ideal day?
Do you want the soft patter of rain on the roof with a little rolling thunder

Here's to the dads who taught us how to back a trailer, fix what broke, read a map, and enjoy the journey.

Wishing all the fathers out there a happy and relaxing Father's Day.

Summer has officially arrived!

That means camp chairs under the awning, evening walks, sunsets, and making the most of the longer days ahead.

Here's to a season of safe travels, new adventures, and finding places that feel a little like home along the way.

Local Spotlight: Old Stagecoach Road
Just outside of Marshall, Old Stagecoach Road is one of the more unique drives in East Texas.
Parts of the road sit down inside a natural “hollow way,” where years of travel and erosion gradually carved the roadway deeper into the earth. In some sections, the earthen walls rise nearly 12 feet high on both sides, creating a winding corridor through the trees that feels completely different from modern highways.
Originally traveled by wagons and stagecoaches in the 1800s, the road still carries that old East Texas atmosphere today — quiet, shaded, and a little mysterious.
Of course, with a road this old, local ghost stories eventually followed… but even without the legends, the landscape alone makes it worth seeing. 🌲🚙
