BUSINESS FUNDING PSA

Business funding isn’t just about getting approved. It’s about knowing which type of capital to use, when to use it, and what to use it for.

In this Business Funding 101 breakdown, I cover how business owners can strategically use funding for working capital, expansion, equipment, real estate, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.

Your credit, revenue, time in business, cash flow, and use of funds can all determine which funding options make the most sense.

When you apply for business financing, lenders aren’t just looking at how much money your business makes. They’re analyzing the consistency and quality of your cash flow.

Your business bank statements can reveal:

✔️ Consistent monthly deposits
✔️ Revenue trends and stability
✔️ Average daily balances
✔️ Overdrafts and NSF activity
✔️ Existing debt obligations
✔️ Whether your business appears capable of handling another payment

And technology has changed the underwriting process. Many lenders now use automated verification and fraud-detection tools to help authenticate financial information and identify inconsistencies.

That means the goal isn’t to make your bank statements look fundable.

The goal is to build a business that banks actually want to fund.

If you’re preparing for business funding, start thinking like an underwriter before you submit the application.

Sam Walton didn’t build Walmart by waiting until he had enough cash.

He used capital strategically at different stages of growth.

He borrowed money to acquire his first retail business. As he expanded, he used bank financing to help fund additional locations. Eventually, Walmart accessed equity capital to accelerate expansion even further.

The lesson isn’t “take on as much debt as possible.”

It’s this:

The right capital, used for the right purpose, can accelerate what would take years to accomplish using cash alone.

Today, business owners have multiple financing options depending on what they’re trying to accomplish, including working capital, business lines of credit, equipment financing, acquisition financing, SBA loans, commercial real estate financing and more.

But every loan product isn’t designed for every situation.

That’s why I created my Business Loan Match Guide, which breaks down 7 different funding options and helps you understand which ones may fit your business and your goals.

I gave my LLC to Claude.

Not to write a caption. Not to answer a random question. To help me fix the actual structure my business needed to get approved for funding.

I typed in exactly where I was stuck: entity setup, which funding product actually fit my business, an owner profile that looked fundable to underwriters instead of invisible. Claude walked me through the gaps, one prompt at a time.

30 days later: $150,000 in business funding.

The four prompts that got me there are in this carousel. Save it. Use it. Steal it if you need to.

If you’re a business owner who keeps getting denied and doesn’t know why, comment CLAUDE and I’ll send you the full prompt guide, free.
