WESTSIDE WHIMSY debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 74,000 equivalent album units, giving Jhené the biggest chart milestone of her career. It’s also the first R&B album by a woman to reach No. 1 in 2026.

And she didn’t come alone. Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Larry June, Tyga and OHMA all appear across the 20-track project. 🎶

💔📱 IT’S OVER — AND THE INTERNET WATCHED IT HAPPEN!

Blueface and Nevaeh Akira have called it quits just weeks after welcoming their baby boy.

The breakup unfolded during a livestream on September 8, with Blueface telling Nevaeh their relationship was over. The situation quickly went viral, with their disagreement reportedly involving a tattoo Nevaeh got while Blueface was incarcerated.

Nevaeh later confirmed the split and said she hopes they can eventually move forward as friends and build a healthy co-parenting relationship for their child.

🌴✨ SIX YEARS LATER… JHENÉ AIKO IS BACK!

R&B fans, the wait is almost over. 🎶

Jhené Aiko has officially announced her new album, WESTSIDE WHIMSY, dropping THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11! It will be her first full-length studio album since 2020’s Grammy-nominated Chilombo.

And this new era is sounding VERY West Coast. 🌊🌴 Jhené says inspiration for the project includes ’90s music, West Coast car culture, surfing, beaches and California’s laid-back energy.

The official tracklist and features remain under wraps for now.

🔥 B96 FAMILY: What do you want to hear from Jhené on this album — classic late-night R&B, something more upbeat, or BOTH?

🏎️💨 DON TOLIVER ISN’T SLOWING DOWN!

After dropping OCTANE earlier this year, Don Toliver is already teasing his next project, NITROUS. The rollout began gaining momentum this summer, with Toliver shifting his alternate social-media branding toward NITROUS while his current tour is officially billed as the NITROUS – OCTANE World Tour.

One important update from the flyer: an official NITROUS release date has not been announced, so I’d avoid saying it is confirmed to drop before the end of 2026. For now, the message is simple: NITROUS IS COMING. 🔥💨

🎧 Are you ready for another Don Toliver project this soon after OCTANE?

🎂🔥 FAMILY OVER DRAMA!

Cardi B and Offset put their differences aside this weekend for something bigger — THEIR KIDS. ❤️

Despite their ongoing divorce, both were on hand for a huge joint birthday celebration for Wave and Blossom. Wave turned 5 on September 4, while Blossom celebrates her 2nd birthday TODAY! 🎉

The birthday bash went ALL OUT with Disney and Sonic themes, carnival games, a ball pit, massive balloon displays and plenty of food. Cardi even stepped into full Minnie Mouse mode for the celebration. 🎈🎂

But here’s what had people talking: Cardi and Offset didn’t appear together in the photos or videos they posted from the party. So this looks like a co-parenting moment — not confirmation that the former couple has reconciled.

👏🏾 Can you respect Cardi & Offset for putting the kids first despite their differences?
