Getting observed on Halloween? Terrifying. 😂👻
But this was my reminder that a loud classroom doesn’t always mean chaos. Sometimes it means kids are engaged, collaborating, and actually excited about math. 🙌

One of my fave lessons to teach!
Pulling out my Crayola markers and color coding makes me so happy!
I made these combining like terms notes to walk students through vocabulary, identifying like terms, and simplifying expressions.
And once they’re done they have something they can actually go back and USE.
If combining like terms is coming up for you, comment LIKE TERMS and I’ll send you the link to purchase the resource.
I may work from home now, but seventh-grade math is still taking up most of the space in my brain. ☺️
Now I get to spend my days creating the lessons, activities, and resources I wish I had when I was the one holding it down.
middle school teachers, I see you. ♥️
And I’m still right here making things to help make your days a little easier.

Okay Math Teachers… has 67 died yet?! 😂 Because somehow it is STILL going strong.
If they’re going to be obsessed with 67 anyway, you might as well sneak a little math into it. 😂
Comment 67 and I’ll send you the link so you can use it with your students!

If your students keep trying to turn 3x + 1 into 4x, they probably need to see why those terms are different before they do more practice.
That’s exactly the kind of first encounter I build into my Math lessons.

When another math teacher says your guided notes are a “life saver”… 🥹🙌
THIS is exactly why I love having guided notes ready to go. Less time spent creating and formatting everything from scratch, and students have organized notes they can actually go back to when they need them.
And yes, they’re available for 6th-8th grade math!
