This weekend, on June 7–8, 2026, skywatchers will have a chance to witness fast-moving meteors streaking across the early morning sky. As one of the year's most active meteor showers, the Daytime Arietids will be at its best.

Although the Arietids are technically a daytime meteor shower, some of their brightest meteors can often be seen shortly before sunrise.

On June 29, 2026, skywatchers around the world will witness the Full Strawberry Moon, the traditional full moon of early summer.

Despite its name, the Moon won't actually be bright red, but it may appear warm golden, orange, or rosy near the horizon, creating a breathtaking sight.

This June, it is also a "Micromoon," meaning it will appear slightly smaller in the night sky because it's at its farthest point from Earth.
