On a recent Wednesday night we broke out the paint palettes and put what we believe on paper, from "God's radical and unconditional love is for you" to "embrace all of the messy moments." Each card came out as unique as the person who painted it.

We are so excited to celebrate our National Coming Out Day Community Worship with voices that bring immense joy, wisdom, and lived experience to our faith. We are sharing space with these amazing leaders because hearing their stories grounds us in community and reminds us what love looks like in action.

We get to hear from Rev. Andi Woodworth, Executive Director of the Reconciling Ministries Network, and Dr. Christy Perez, Statewide Gender and Faith Policy Manager for Georgia Equality. We are bringing all the energy with Gagatha Christie, a drag queen extraordinaire, content creator, author, and ministry leader. Licensed Mental Health Counselor Lyndon Carr and Michael Conger, a nonprofit professional, advocate, and PhD candidate in Public Policy and Administration, complete this brilliant group.

Your Sunday doesn't have to look like four walls and a ceiling. Trail Church is back at Arabia Mountain this Sunday at 4PM (note the new fall time). Grab your hiking shoes and come find something sacred on the trail with people who believe faith belongs outside the building too.
