Sh*ts therapeutic. I’ve had more ideas generated during coloring than anything else in the last few years. I think it’s something related to the law of detachment but I don’t know.

Growth sometimes brings post-clarity that you were indeed the problem in some of your relationships and who you are now could’ve seen the issues you had more clearly and navigated them better.

But everything happens how and when it’s supposed to,

Specificity > Vague

Singing this song and realizing someone, somewhere, could be singing it thinking about you. Crazy how you can be the victim in one story and the villain in another. You can know what it feels like to be hurt and still have hurt people yourself. We don’t play the same role in everybody’s story. Sometimes both things can be true.

Don’t speak to my children some kind of way.
Don’t treat my children some kind of way.
Don’t put your hands on my children.
Don’t “just joke” with my children.

We ain’t doing none of that….

Tolerance is absolutely zero.

Be kind. Don’t make people explain. Help if you feel led, don’t if you don’t.
Asking for help shouldn’t be a sign of moral failure or shame. This world we have created is tough…. Sometimes someone needs a hand without the conversation explaining why they’re asking for change.
