Well, it wasn’t the outcome the Cherokee County Bruins team had planned as they fell in the EAFL Championship Game for the 2nd time in two years this past Saturday in Savannah. They’ll regroup, rebuild, and return in ‘27 and no doubt will put themselves in position to finish on top. Here’s a few pics of the action from the game. The Cherokee County Bruins team are once again the North Division Champions. After a 28-0 dispatching of the Georgia Grit, the Bruins are on to their 3rd National Championship Game in 4 seasons. They’ll look to bring home the EAFL championship rings on June 27th in Savanna GA. With a bruising rushing attach, an opportunistic passing game, a kicking game that can make em from anywhere, and a crushing defense that can shut it down, they’re positioned to enact revenge against the Tarpon Springs Pirates in a rematch of last year’s championship. It's Wednesday, and in a few hours, the team will take the field and prepare to take on the Georgia Generals this Saturday night.

The flyer says the road to Savannah begins here. And it does. But as the #1 seed in the North Division, and the reigning North Division Champs, the road to Savannah for anyone has to go thru Canton, GA.
