I am proud to call Cobb County home. That is why I serve. I haven’t spent my life chasing political office, but service to others is nothing new to me.

The content shared here is for informational purposes only and does not represent an official account of the Georgia General Assembly. It is a great place to live and raise a family, and I am determined to protect our future and keep it that way for generations to come. From serving on the frontlines as a paramedic to serving our community through my profession and countless community organizations, I am doing the same at the State Capitol for the community that I love. As a lifelong conservative, family man, and servant leader, I know there is too much at stake to sit on the sidelines. With our way of life under siege by folks with extreme agendas, we need a reliable conservative who is ready to fight back and save our future. I will fight to save what matters most to our families: our values, public safety, great schools, low taxes, and a strong economy. I will deliver on local issues that safeguard our quality of life, and I will work to save this state from those that wish to destroy it. I am honored to have a seat at the table to discuss the important state issues that will affect your family and your quality of life and I appreciate the confidence you have shown me in each election. Happy Constitution Day! 🇺🇸

On September 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed, laying the foundation for our nation's government and protecting the freedoms we hold dear. Today, we celebrate the wisdom of our Founding Fathers and the enduring principles that guide us as Americans—liberty, justice, and the rule of law.

Please take a moment to reflect on the importance of this document and its role in securing the rights we as American citizens enjoy. To learn more visit: https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution

People often ask me, “Is common sense really that common in Government?” I’ll let you be the judge.

I will tell you ELECTIONS matter. The people we elect are given the power to spend our tax dollars and make decisions that directly affect our families, communities and future.

When politicians talk about affordability while continuing to support runaway government spending, remember this information shared by Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana.

None of us is perfect, and government cannot solve every problem. But I firmly believe America and the American people must come first.

When Americans cannot afford a home, groceries, electricity, insurance or basic healthcare, Washington has no business wasting their hard-earned tax dollars on programs that do not serve our national interests.

That is not compassion. It is irresponsible government that under Federal Democrat leadership has failed the American people. Now socialist are being elected into the Democrat party to further plummet the American Dream.

Conservative values mean living within our means, protecting individual liberty, rewarding hard work, defending our Constitution and holding government accountable to the people it serves.

We need leaders who will exercise common sense, stand firmly for those values and remember whom they were elected to serve.
Your vote determines who makes those decisions on your behalf. Choose wisely. I'm honored to serve the constituents of House District 34. Georgia is in an excellent financial position because of solid conservative leadership and I would be honored if you return me to serve another term. Bring your family and friends, and vote!

INVESTING IN EDUCATION

Strong Reading Skills Open the Door to Success in School and Throughout Life.

Every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident reader.

Beginning in 2023, Georgia started the process of strengthening early literacy through evidence-based instruction, improved teacher training, early screening and greater classroom support. I have supported each of these investments because I understand that helping children learn to read opens the door to a lifetime of learning and opportunity.

Re-Elect me in November and I will continue to move Georgia Literacy Education forward so all kids learn to read by the third grade.

Georgia families deserve real, lasting relief—not another campaign headline.

Keisha Lance Bottoms is promoting an optional local grocery-tax reduction that would save a Cobb County family spending $8,000 annually on qualifying groceries approximately $13 per month, IF local officials agree to remove the 2% tax on groceries. Her plan also relies on a temporary $250 million taxpayer-funded backstop for participating local governments. What happens in year 2?

Rick Jackson is offering a broader approach to affordability:

1-Cut Georgia’s income tax in half
2-Eliminate state taxes on residential electricity and natural gas
3-Freeze rising property valuations
4-Suspend the motor-fuel tax during significant price spikes

One plan offers a temporary, optional tax shift. Rick Jackson’s plan delivers broader relief across the major expenses affecting Georgia families.

The difference is in the details and the math. Rick Jackson is offering a path to real tax relief that tax paying families will actually benefit from.

DELIVERING RELIEF FOR GEORGIA HOMEOWNERS

Your home should build your future—not become unaffordable because of a rising tax bill or vulnerable to someone trying to take it over illegally.

I have worked as a member of the Georgia General Assembly to take real action to protect homeowners:
Invested $850 million in 2026 property-tax relief providing many homeowners with estimated savings of approximately $500.

Limited annual increases in the taxable value of qualifying homesteads where the statewide exemption applies.

Required greater transparency when local governments raise taxes above the rollback rate or opt out of statewide homeowner protections.

Made it easier for eligible homeowners to apply for homestead exemptions and understand the savings shown on their assessment notices.

I also authored Georgia’s anti-squatting legislation to protect homeowners from criminals who unlawfully occupy residential property, present fraudulent leases or attempt to manipulate the eviction process. The law established stronger criminal penalties, provided a faster legal process for removing squatters and allowed courts to order restitution for the damage they cause.

Let’s be clear: local governments still establish local millage rates, so the state cannot honestly promise that every homeowner’s tax bill will decrease. But we can and did return state dollars to taxpayers, restrained increases in taxable value and gave homeowners greater transparency and accountability.

Protecting homeownership means helping Georgians afford their homes and defending their right to control the property they worked so hard to earn.

I don’t just talk about what I’m going to do, I find solutions and get them done.
