Can you believe that Pug-O-Ween is only 2 weeks away???

There will be Vendors, B**r, Food, Raffle, Silent Auction, Trick-or-Treating, Pugkin Royalty, Costume Contest, Pug Races, and a lot more!

Hope to see you on October 10th from 12 to 5 at Pontoon Brewing, 8601 Dunwoody Place #500, Sandy springs at this free, family friendly event. All dog breeds are welcome, but this is a leashed event.

Meet Chelsea! Sorry, I mean Princess Chelsea who is one of GPPR's forever fosters. Sweet Chelsea is 16 and half years old, but this little girl is still going strong. She is very sweet and loving. Her favorite hobbies include long naps, riding in her stroller, snuggling, and watching Live with Kelly and Mark. Chelsea's BFF is her 4-year-old nephew Rex. She has convinced her foster mom to cook her homemade dog food. Her foster mom says that she is such a sweetheart and has brought so much happiness and love.

Chelsea is a miracle warrior!!! She was diagnosed with a large mass near her trachea in February. The vet said the prognosis was bleak, but Chelsea is still here enjoying her time with her loving foster family. She does have numerous medical issues and is a frequent flyer at the vet along with taking a plethora of prescriptions. Thankfully your kind donations and the love of her foster family have helped her maintain a good quality of life in her golden years.

It's $5 Foster Friday!

Meet Max, a.k.a Maxter, a.k.a Maxter Baxster (lol). Max is a sweet little guy that has been in foster care since May 2025. Max came to GPPR with some neurological issues and is currently waiting on an MRI to get to the bottom of his issues.

Max snuggles like it's his profession, slowly- albeit not always gracefully- working his way to smush up next to his intended target, whether that be one of his 4-legged foster brothers or his foster dad's head in bed at night. He's also the definition of a pug shadow, a Stage 5 clinger- haha! Unless he is napping on the sofa or eating, he's guaranteed to be right next to one of his foster parents. Sometimes being next to them is still too far away so he will stand on a foot for good measure.

Poor little Max has poor eyesight, and his hearing is not the best. He has an issue that makes it hard for him to bend his back legs, so he cannot navigate stairs, lift his leg to p*e, and he really hates being picked up. He also has urinary crystals, so he is on a prescription diet. He loves to eat. but he has trouble getting the food in his mouth so it will take him an hour, and he creates a bit of a mess.

Like all pugs, Max is truly one-of-a-kind. He has some very unique needs, but he is a sweetheart!!!
