I felt like The Lord stopped me today… he made me pause and really reflect on what His heart is for artists, creatives, and quite frankly… all of His kids… His upmost desire is that we would be healthy in every way… not needing anything from any one or anything other than our complete trust and devotion in him and His character… God loves you too much to not create a space for this kind of work, while you WORK… Christ came that we would be restored back to God’s original intent… I leave you with this prayer as you read… The apostle Paul put it like this… ABOVE ALL… I pray that you would prosper & be in HEALTH as your soul prospers… in Jesus name 🙏🏼💯🫶🏼 Take what you need 🙏🏼

A little sermon for my fellow artists. This industry will give you a million reasons to believe you are behind, inadequate, overlooked, or somehow less deserving because somebody else is winning. Don’t let it. Celebrate EVERYTHING. Celebrate yourself loudly. Celebrate your people even louder. Clap when it isn’t your turn. Show up for somebody else’s moment. Because if you only know how to find joy when the spotlight is on you, eventually somebody else’s success will start to feel like your failure. And that’s where envy grows. That’s where resentment grows. That’s where we lose the joy of why we started creating in the first place. Somebody else’s blessing is not evidence that you’ve been forgotten. Protect your spirit. Protect your joy. Be on each other’s team. And whatever you do, don’t let this industry convince you that somebody else has to lose for you to win. ❤️
