Designed as a gallery walk honoring Mitch’s incredible 41 years of dedicated service in the United States Air Force, The Airman’s Archive: Exhibit 60 transformed his journey into an immersive visual experience.

From uniforms worn throughout his career to photographs, milestones, and personal moments, every detail offered guests a glimpse into the legacy behind the man they came to celebrate.

This wasn’t simply a display of memories. It was a walk through a lifetime of service, sacrifice, dedication, and achievement.

Because when you’re designing a milestone celebration, the goal isn’t just to decorate the room. It’s to tell the story.

🛩️For Mitch’s “Cleared for Celebration” 60th Birthday & Retirement Toast, we transformed the guest experience into a full-scale military-inspired journey, taking cues from the atmosphere and architecture of Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. . ✈️

From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in the experience through a grand entryway with sophisticated florals, and intentional accent details that were designed to feel like the entrance to an active base. A stationed Sergeant greeted each guest with, “Welcome to base, Captain.”

From there, guests made their way to the clearance desk, where their personalized Clearance IDs revealed their table assignments. What appeared to be a simple seating card became part of the story, seamlessly guiding guests from the entry experience into cocktail hour and ultimately into the “hangar” for the evening’s reception.

Every detail was designed with intention, creating an experience that didn’t simply celebrate Mitch’s milestone, but honored his years of service through design, storytelling, and immersive guest experiences.

Because when the celebration has a mission, every detail should report for duty. ✈️

An immersive garden brought to life through lush greenery, moss-covered textures, wild bursts of color, glowing candlelight, and delicate glass orbs suspended from the trees above.

Every detail was intentionally layered to feel like you had stepped into a secret garden; Where the florals felt untamed, the candlelight felt magical, and the tablescape became part of the landscape.

This design wasn’t created to simply seat guests. It was designed to pull them into the experience. ❤️💜 A winding installation of pink and red roses became the centerpiece while hundreds of cylinders, taper candles and arrangements made their way through the room.
