Hyperion’s Amy Ellis and Charlie Crawford recently attended the ribbon cutting for the new home of The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia - MOCA GA, which will soon open to the public at the Goat Farm Arts Center in West Midtown Atlanta. Luminaries cutting the ribbon and making remarks of course included Annette Cone-Skelton, artist, curator & MOCA-GA founder, and Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens. (Hyperion is providing one of the sources of lending toward MOCA-GA’s new 26,000-square-foot facility.)
As Cone-Skelton noted earlier, “it’s taken a diverse and generous village to bring us to the building of our first permanent home on land we own…and we’re glad that team includes Hyperion, which has been responsive and enthusiastic, with a great understanding of our goals, processes and role in the community.”

Histories, cultures, contributions: Hispanic Heritage Month runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.
We’re proud to partner with the Greater Philadelphia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce the whole year through. During this month, you’ll see many ways to celebrate “the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America." When major corporations or insurance providers announce legitimate payout programs – such as massive customer dividends or class-action settlements – fraudsters quickly capitalize on the news. They build fake emails, texts and portals around the genuine event, using the real headlines as bait to steal your personal information, identity, or funds.
The Anatomy of a Headline Scam
• The Context: A major company officially announces a payout program.
• The Trap: You receive an urgent message asking you to "click here" or verify details to collect your money.
• The Reality: While the dividend itself is real, the message in your inbox is a trap designed to harvest your data.
How to Spot Official vs. Fraudulent Outreach
• No upfront fees: Legitimate organizations never charge a fee to release money owed to you.
• No unsolicited calls for sensitive data: Genuine administrators will not call out of the blue asking for account numbers or passwords to process a payment.
• Automated processes: Legitimate payouts are typically sent automatically via physical check or through established digital payment procedures already linked to your official account.
Action Steps to Stay Safe
• Never click links in unexpected notices: Avoid clicking links or using contact details embedded inside the message you received.
• Go directly to the official source: Open a fresh browser tab, log into your official account independently, or contact your dedicated agent/representative.
• Verify the sender, not just the news: Confirming that a dividend program exists is only step one. Step two is confirming that the specific outreach you received actually came from the source.
